An eminent professor of IEM who is an active member in all the important events in the college. Is also the president of IEM E-Cell actively mentoring young entrepreneurs. Presently, presiding over the reasearch and development cell and is also the IEDC faculty coordinator of eastern region.

CSE 4th Year. Traditionally an entrepreneur has been defined as "a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, with considerable initiative and risk." An entrepreneurial venture launches innovation ushering in new industries and approaches-the dynamic disequilibrium gradually becoming the 'norm' of the future. Versatile, risk tolerant, acutely perseverant and a visionary-the sobriquets of an entrepreneur are the gems on his crown, as he holds the sceptre to change the world. Motivation and a prodigious thirst for success shall be our oath, as we, the IEM E Cell family work towards becoming the cynosure of excellence.

We work as a team, we set goals, collaborate, learn, gather experience, innovate, improvise, inspire, aspire, fail several times and then finally succeed. As Sir Steve Jobs had rightly said,”Half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.” We hope to continue chasing our dreams and help others fulfill theirs too.

Sayantan Nandy

CSE 3rd Year. Entrepreneurial spirit is a mindset. It's an attitude and approach to thinking that actively seeks out change, rather than waiting to adapt to change. I reckon there are certain qualities that are deeply ingrained in the character of successful entrepreneurs and the most important of them is that they’re passionate about what they do.I think if we believe in something,working nights and weekends wouldn’t feel like work. As a part of the E-cell family I would do my best in keeping the entrepreneurial zeal alive among my team members.
