Entrepreneurs specially have to rely heavily on technological tools for every aspect of their work starting from research and development to public relations to advertising etc. This talk set forth a series of methods and strategies to get maximum out of the various technologies available in the market. The speakers spoke from [personal experience and also fielded questions from the audience. The audience gained a lot of practical knowledge making it easier for them to start their own business.
This was particularly a much awaited event for students like us who dream to become Entrepreneurs in the future. It was so because we had very eminent speakers who were from the industry themselves. In fact they are angel investors and having them speak to us gave us a huge incite into the actual scenario in the industry, in this case the hospitality industry. Although we are students of technology, yet it was interesting to know how many different avenues were open in the hospitality industry and how promising they were. The interactive session post lunch was the most interesting section in my opinion where we students got the golden opportunity to interact with the angel investors directly. New terms, new concepts. This truly was one of the highlights of the entire e week.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Most business owners have an idea where they want to be in 3-5 years. If not, this is even more important for you. The key to this process isn’t so that your 3-5 year plan is set in stone. In reality the middle is gone when it comes to planning. Most of us can only plan for certain for the next 90 days. Looking ahead to where we want to be in the next 3-5 years forces us to come to grips with our reality and recognize the gap that exists between where we are now and where we want to be.
